In addition to my legal expertise, I am also a compassionate and empathetic listener who truly cares about my clients' well-being. I understand that the legal process can be stressful and confusing, and I strive to make it as easy and stress-free as possible for my clients. We are often told that it is idealistic to have the goal to "make a difference," but each of us can make a difference for someone.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and staying active through various outdoor activities. My favorite outdoor activities include basketball, visiting somewhere new (especially a beach), and camping. I also appreciate reading and learning new skills. I believe having varied interests and experiences is important to both being an understanding attorney and a well-balanced person.

Education
Juris Doctor
2014 - 2017
Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL
During law school, my elective courses were focused in business law. After accepting an internship with a personal injury firm, I knew that I wanted to represent plaintiffs and become a litigator after law school. I also took part in FSU's children's advocacy clinic, which provided a great opportunity to work on real cases for some of the most vulnerable among Florida residents.
Bachelor of Arts - History
2011 - 2014
Gardner Webb University, Boiling Springs, NC
While at Gardner Webb, I focused my history studies in Native American history. I minored in English. I also worked as a student manager with the men's basketball team coached by Chris Holtmann.
During college, I worked in customer service at an apparel company. Our company made apparel for colleges and universities.
